I have to admit that I was very tired watching this the other night and it definitely affected my viewing experience. Also, for some reason, I thought it was a documentary before I started it, so it was a surprise to find out that it was a narrative feature. It’s really beautifully shot and effective immerses us into the perspective of a donkey moving in and out of the lives of others.  The audacity to cast Isabelle Huppert, but cut out right before the kink….
