Diretto da Javier SerranoCarlos Álvarez, a detective deeply attached to some old fashioned codes of behavior, receives a routine commission: He has to watch a businessman's wife. The obvious infidelities become more complicated with a death into play: the businessman's daughter, a young girl with loads of charms and no scruples, the family lawyer and the millionaire partner with overtly illegal business affairs. Carlos becomes the target for attacks, shot-outs and police interrogations, while he tries to solve the death of his client and close the case for which he has only received half the payment. Carlos is a born survivor and he moves with ease through the turbulent waters of an affair that becomes more and more complicated by the minute. The crucial twist comes when Gloria, an old flame, bursts onto the scene.
