Doctor Sleep Ratings & Reviews
- GrimeFiVideoMarch 6, 2025It’s ok. Some interesting moments here and there, but the whole thing feels a bit lack-luster.
- RyezooFebruary 7, 2025This really stood on its on. Love the world building, the actors, and the cinematography. The weakest aspect had to be the third act. Still was a ton of fun. Didn’t like the recasting principle actors from the first but I could get past it. Rebecca Ferguson was a fantastic villain. Excited to rewatch this.
- ChrisDecember 29, 2024“Man takes a drink. A drink takes the drink. And the the drink takes the man. Isn’t it so, dad?” - Danny Torrance It was better than I thought it would be. I enjoyed the homage to the original. The second act felt a little superhero-ish, but I enjoyed the first and third acts. 🥶🔥🧬
- DeadncideDecember 22, 2024I was really surprised by how much I liked this. Part of me wanted something more towards the end, but I can not think of anything that would satsatisfy that feeling. I think thats a flaw on my part and others who may feel that way or more. Its not the fault of the filmakers. They did a wonderful job.on a REALLY tough thing to actually pull off. Its not hard to dig up old well known IP to and pump out more movies, but its usually done horribly. I believe this was done because the people making it wanted to make it, not just another cash grab "I REMEMBER THAT!!!!" junk whatsoever. Great job!
- Chris SimonOctober 29, 2024I'm very very very upset that this movie came out 5 years ago and I just now heard of it, just now saw it and just now loved it that much. I mean, I was kind of expecting an AI young Jack Nicholson, but bravo anybody.
- Eric BakkeOctober 12, 2024Doctor Sleep brilliantly bridges the gap between Stephen King’s original work and Stanley Kubrick’s iconic adaptation of The Shining, thanks to Mike Flanagan’s thoughtful direction. This film stands out as one of my favorite sequels and has earned its place among the top 10 horror classics. Flanagan’s ability to honor both interpretations while crafting a compelling narrative is truly impressive
