Cheesy by adult standards, my inner adolescent still freaks out at times, particularly during the Barghest manifestations. There are moments of great editing, creating true tension despite the silliness. Yvette Mimieux is delightful, and Richard Crenna delivers a cordon bleu performance in an Alpo horror/thriller.
