Destroy All Neighbors Ratings & Reviews
Film Focus Online
Romey Norton
Overall this is a great splatter-horror-comedy trip which I highly recommend watching. To quote the film "not everyone will get it, but the right ones will" and that is the perfect way to summarise Destroy all Neighbors.
KSNV (Las Vegas)
Derek Sante
I give it a B- for its campy nature! And look for all the cameos and friends that make appearances.
Bloody Disgusting
Meagan Navarro
Those on its wavelength won't mind the rough edges or underdeveloped themes in this raucous comedy filled with enough moments and character beats to compensate. But the flaws will only become more evident if this type of humor isn't for you.
IGN Movies
Matt Donato
Destroy All Neighbors is a horror-comedy with a fun premise and creative effects but it's messy in too many ineffective and wrong ways, like listening to a 20-minute jam session that never finds its hook.
MovieFreak.com
Sara Michelle Fetters
Much like wannabe prog-rock musician William Brown's (Jonah Ray Rodrigues) music, not everyone is going to "get" the juvenile horror-comedy Destroy All Neighbors, but those who do are going to adore the ever-loving heck out of it.
Tales from the Paulside
Paul Lê
This movie's jokes and sight gags are only a partial victory, but its self-examination is a total win.
AIPT
Nathaniel Muir
Everything is put in the background as sheer zaniness takes over. Trippy visuals and great special effects take center stage as Destroy All Neighbors bombards the audience's senses. It manages. It is a gory and lighthearted watch that is bloody fun.
Casey's Movie Mania
Casey Chong
Alex Winter steals the show in this eccentric splatter horror-comedy.
Fat Guys at the Movies
Kevin Carr
It has great spirit and some clever ideas, but it struggles to cling to a coherent plot.
RogerEbert.com
Simon Abrams
You may not remember this movie beyond isolated quips and gestures, but those moments will stick in your mind given how much fun the on-camera performers seem to be having in each other's company.
Mark Reviews Movies
Mark Dujsik
Destroy All Neighbors puts the character aside in order to shock and tell the same joke over and over. Both of those wear out quickly.
The Spool
Gena Radcliffe
[A] likably silly horror-comedy that compensates for a lack of plot and character development with gory practical effects and a memorable performance by Alex Winter.
Aisle Seat
Mike McGranaghan
It starts off with a lot of promise before getting stuck in a rut it never gets out of.
Austin Chronicle
Richard Whittaker
Destroy All Neighbors has all the verve of a blood clot.
Paste Magazine
Matthew Jackson
A gore-covered, laugh-filled tornado of a movie, and you won't soon forget what it has to show you.
Elements of Madness
Douglas Davidson
... everything within "Destroy" feels lovingly crafted in its precision to convey the thematic message that sometimes it's more important to get the job done and have a good time doing it than wasting time making it perfect.
NYC Movie Guru
Avi Offer
If Very Bad Things and Shaun of the Dead had a baby with a Troma film and a Quentin Dupieux film minus the laughs, it would look something like Destroy All Neighbors.
Blu-ray.com
Brian Orndorf
The picture as a whole is a little too much to endure at times, but creativity is plentiful and humor remains intact in this exploration of overkill.
Collider
Maggie Boccella
While some individual pieces are impressive achievements on their own, nothing ever seems to quite gel - or congeal, much like all the blood William spills throughout the film.
Digital Mafia Talkies
Pramit Chatterjee
Destroy All Neighbors could've been one of the most relatable movies of the year (...) But the film's half-baked script keeps its themes and characters from being something significant in the horror comedy genre.
