The Kazakh shepherd Bair finds a fairy tale treasure in the steppe: a stone pot that doubles everything you put in it. Bair is a poor and lawless man who was cheated by the rich rancher Galzan and deprived of his wages. Now he sees the opportunity to make himself and his friends happy with this pot. But the greedy Galzan manages to get the pot in his possession with cunning and treachery. The shepherd now has to be brave and clever to outwit him.
