Death Valley Ratings & Reviews
Kevin Ward
July 1, 2025
Not enough A. Wilford Brimley in this and they did him dirty killing him off screen like that. Would have liked some more killin, too. Outside of the first kill and a single flash of ( .) .) this felt like an ABC movie of the week. Dancing on the roof felt like an odd choice for the killer too. Kid’s gotta be careful with those guns or you’ll shoot your eye out.
MTV
Charles Webb
Ultimately, Death Valley is a curiosity more interesting for its cast than anything actually on the screen.
Creative Loafing
Matt Brunson
Director Dick Richards has fashioned a perfectly serviceable thriller that unfortunately becomes derailed by both an extended -- and ludicrous -- climax as well as an increasingly silly performance by McHattie.
