Deadpool & Wolverine Ratings & Reviews
- Davey’s Wonderful WorldJuly 24, 2025This is without a doubt, one of the funniest Marvel movies ever made. I love the self-aware humor, the action sequences Shawn Levy’s direction and of course, my favorite part of the entire movie the fight scene between Deadpool and Wolverine in that Honda something car to the music of you’re the one that I want from Grease Maybe a tad bit overrated of a movie, but it’s still wonderful
- Robert DeanJuly 20, 2025Deadpool 3 gave us the Wolverine we always wanted, but never deserved.
- JkrilinOctober 11, 2024Deadpool and Wolverine is one of those movies that Marvel fans have been eagerly awaiting, and it doesn't disappoint. From minute one, the clash of personalities between these two characters makes the screen explode with pure fun. Deadpool, with his irreverent humor and always breaking the fourth wall, and Wolverine, the serious and wild guy we all know, make an incredible duo. The movie is pure action, with epic fights and moments of laughter that catch you off guard. The chemistry between the two is brutal, and Deadpool's jokes about the Marvel universe (and beyond) are the best. But it's not all joke after joke; there are also moments of emotion that make the characters feel more human, even among so much madness. It's a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, but knows how to give us what we want: humor, action and that touch of madness that only Deadpool can bring. If you're a fan of either of these two characters, or you just want to have a good time with laughter and adrenaline, this movie is for you. for you.
- tony_kriJuly 19, 2025Best deadpool ever!!
- jackmeatJanuary 21, 2025My quick rating - 8.3/10. How awesome was this movie? Deadpool & Wolverine is an energetic ride of humor, action, and meta-commentary that fans of both characters will absolutely love. The film delivers on its promise of fun mayhem, blending sharp wit with spectacular action sequences, all while poking fun at its own existence within the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. From the get-go, I was picking out Easter Egss this movie is jam-packed with and will have fans scouring every scene for hidden gems (this second viewing made it easier to do so). The humor is spot-on, maintaining the irreverent tone that has become synonymous with Deadpool. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s chemistry is electric, and their on-screen banter, echoing their real-life friendly feud, is nothing short of hilarious. The constant zingers, especially those aimed at Disney's ownership of the franchise, add a layer of meta-humor that keeps you laughing throughout. This and the jabs left and right at the whole multiverse saga is quite amusing. The action scenes are exceptionally well-choreographed, combining Deadpool's chaotic fighting style with Wolverine's brutal efficiency. Each set piece is thrilling and inventive, ensuring that the action never feels repetitive. The duo’s dynamic in combat is a highlight, showcasing their distinct styles while working together seamlessly. The plot revolves around Deadpool being offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority. Instead of accepting, he recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his own universe from extinction. This storyline is clever and engaging, providing a perfect backdrop for the characters' antics. It cleverly balances being part of the larger Marvel picture with enough standalone elements and references to ongoing stories, making it enjoyable for both dedicated MCU fans and casual viewers. This flick could easily fit into the broader Marvel phases, but it also works perfectly well as a self-contained adventure. The film manages to reference the ongoing Marvel stories without being bogged down by them, allowing it to stand on its own merits. This balance is one of its strengths, ensuring that it appeals to a wide audience. In conclusion, this film is a fantastic blend of humor, and action, leveraging the strengths of its lead actors and the beloved characters they portray, delivering a movie that is both a great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a highly entertaining standalone film. For fans of either Deadpool or Wolverine or like me, both, you'll enjoy a good superhero romp with plenty of laughs. This movie is a must-watch.
- Nathan MagretaJuly 17, 2025This movie is another amazing Deadpool installment with a perfectly cast deadpool, amazing humor, and a nice new wolverine
- manolinio7July 16, 2025Exelent Visuals tremendous photo picture, very nice humour, very good acting.. 👌👌
- samse14April 12, 2025Ryan has created a masterpiece... from the first scene, the madness begins and continues on... The plot of the movie combined with Ryan's humor is phenomenal... This is the third part of the movie and I thought, just don't ruin the first two parts, but he has done something that no one has managed to do, a third part of the film that is better, funnier, and crazier than the first two parts... What Deadpool has said and shown in the movie, I believe that it will be banned in many parts of the world, but those who know who Deadpool is will be thrilled to know that this is by far the best part of the story of the immortal anti-hero... I won't spoil who is in the movie and what happens, I can only say WOW YOU'RE CRAZY, RYAN!!!

- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Undoubtedly a really fun romp, packed with jokes and cameos that makes it an enjoyable theatrical experience. Blood and violence go pretty hard in some places which does pretty well to satiate my bloodlust. However, the film is hampered by some of its schtickiness. (Ryan Reynolds schtick, multiverse schtick and to an extent the Hugh Jackman Wolverine schtick). Action scenes and hand to hand combat are well executed and reasonably thrilling but most times have zero consequences. Deadpool and Wolverine slice and stab each other up to no end with no repercussions or ramifications. And as much as this was hyped as Deadpools entry into the MCU, this still feels very much separate from that world. The tie-ins to the MCU feel much more like spoof and parody than meaningful connection….and I’m actually not so sure that that’s a bad thing. The story here is pretty lackluster and it doesn’t truly get me excited for more MCU. Multiverse, time variance, et al, continue to be a used as a vehicle for wild cameos, fan service and nostalgia bumps, but feels like the kind of movie that will have diminished enjoyment the more times you watch it. Negatives aside, this is absolutely a fun and wild ride. Loved, loved, loved some of the cameos. The kind of movie that is a thrill to watch with that opening weekend audience. I’m likely seeing it again with my kids because they’ve been begging to see it. I’m optimistic that most of the sexual references will fly way over their heads. Those that don’t, I’ll probably have some fun questions to field after the film. 😬
- VarunJuly 27, 2024I’m a big fan of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and I always wanted him to reprise his role but I had absolutely zero hype or expectations going in because I lost trust in Marvel a while ago and also it’s a Deadpool movie so I’m conditioned to take it lightly. The movie had some really high highs but also a lot of classic mediocre moments that Marvel movies consistently exhibit these days. Full Spoilers Ahead. A unique action scene with Deadpool using each skeletal remain of Logan to brutally kill a bunch of TVA soldiers in extravagant fashion? What an absolutely banger way to start the movie! I really enjoyed the humour throughout, I thought it was clever with some quick witted punchy slurs that I’ve never heard before, and the meta commentary on Marvel studios was actually fun. However there’s 2 issues I had with it. First, even though it’s expected of a Deadpool movie, the humour undercuts a lot of serious moments and runs into the problem of turning the whole movie into a gag. Part of this is also a script issue, it does not balance well the important emotional beats or plot moments with the comedic sequences. Second, though I really appreciated the tight humour, since it is constant and doesn’t give it a rest, for the majority of it I was just smiling. I was doing a movie marathon in the theatre this day, so I watched The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) first and it actually made me laugh out loud way more times than Deadpool that I had to try containing myself. A strange comparison indeed but it brought me perspective on how humour is best delivered in waves rather than a constant barrage. Now here are my thoughts on Wolverine. Hugh Jackman is so goddamn perfect for the role, for a character who is always disgruntled and brooding, he exudes such a strong gravitating personality. His interactions with Deadpool were perfect, they really nailed the buddy cop dynamic duo. And when Wolverine puts on his mask, holy fuck that has to be one of the best superhero costume moments in comic book movie history. It could’ve easily been seen as goofy but it‘s got an insanely cool aura, especially with that one slow mo scene of him and Deadpool jumping out of a bus. Also 55yo Jackman is jacked!!! As to the character development and story of Wolverine, that was completely fumbled. I’m confused as to why he’s considered the worst multiversal Wolverine, the explanation that he was out drinking when all the X-men were wiped out is pretty lame, how did it happen and what impact could Wolverine have had is not clearly shown. None of it seemed convincing to me so I just didn’t feel invested in his emotional development. I think both his and Deadpool’s personal emotional arcs get a bit sidelined and lost in the plot. X23’s arrival in the void also felt a bit cheap to me. Now to comment on all the cameos. Chris Evan’s bait and switch from Captain America to Johnny Storm was fantastic, pun intended. And OH MY GOD, I don’t think I have ever audibly exclaimed this much in a theatre when I saw Wesley Snipe’s Blade, I actually could not believe my eyes and it was the most hype inducing scene of the whole movie for me. Unfortunately he along with Elektra, Gambit and X23 are criminally under-utilised with just a single action scene dedicated to them which was very poorly shot with shaky cam, fighting in a bland greyish toned sequence with lame cgi and no bombastic moments. I also did not like the multiple Deadpools cameo, it was cool to see different versions but also felt like a pointless nonsensical gag. Cassandra Nova was a terrifying villain that does bring some unpredictable stakes but her motives are underdeveloped. I was so glad to see Matthew Macfadyen from Succession, he killed the role of the snobbish and slimy Mr. Paradox. In conclusion, I felt like the movie was a bit all over the place with a couple of blue ball moments which doesn’t restore any of my faith in Marvel but I still had quiet an enjoyable time with some awesome fan service moments and it’s really satisfying to see Hugh Jackman back and introduced to the MCU.
- gradientorangeJune 30, 2025what an embarrassment. this is utterly devoid of substance. no real character work, no real stakes, no real plot — just hype moments and fan service. this is exactly the “theme park” movie we claim the mcu isn’t. i cannot wait to get out of this multiverse saga so we can get back to movies with substance
- faazs3June 29, 2025Good movie, too much comic fan service though.
- domentedcowJune 27, 2025A REALLY fun film that I had to wait too long for.
- NonPlayableContentJanuary 8, 2025Its just a big series of jokes wrapped in a world ending plot. What else did you expect? Nearly perfect, just missing something for me to make it five star material.
