The makeup effects were great, and the acting was hammy enough that this movie should transcend to "so bad it's good" status thanks to its cheesey line delivery and emoting, alongside its low-budget aesthetic. I think what lets this movie down and prevents it from being a truly enjoyable watch is its pacing. It never really revs up, and though some of the kills are creative, the movie doesn't give the victims enough of a line for you to really care what's happening to them. All that considered, I don't regret spending a couple of hours of my Sunday discovering an old low-budget horror movie from the 1980s that seems to have been largely forgotten.
