Dave Made a Maze Ratings & Reviews
- KentJune 13, 2025Alright, so ... wow! If you ever thought cardboard boxes were just for moving, cats to play in or hiding from your responsibilities, think again. This movie is like someone took a childhood dream of building epic blanket forts and then went full “Labyrinth” with it, but with way more creativity and way less David Bowie (which honestly, might be a blessing). The sheer thought and artistry that went into the cardboard world Dave constructs is mind-blowing. I mean, who knew that packing tape and cereal boxes could become the building blocks of a twisted, magical labyrinth? It’s like IKEA furniture got sucked into a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, and I was here for every second of it. The creativity feels so genuine and charming that you start rooting for Dave, not just to get out, but to keep making more ridiculous cardboard contraptions long after the credits roll. Plus, watching the maze unfold is like watching a Rube Goldberg machine made of craft supplies; surreal, hilarious, and somehow inspiring me to never throw away my old boxes again. “Dave Made a Maze” is a cardboard masterpiece wrapped in quirky humor and heart. If creativity had a weird, wonderfully warped cousin, this movie would be it. Ten out of ten would build again.
