This is the journey of Douglas Rodrigues da Silva, aka "Dalua", who is in search of the Downhill Skateboard world championship. This sport is among the most dangerous in the world where the skaters go downhill reaching speeds over 110 km/h. Over the course of two years, the film follows the Brazilian athlete in his travels around the world revealing that beyond the competition there is a story of determination, passion, pressure and pain. Friendship and rivalry awake some rowdy feelings between the athletes. It is this common bond between them that also what keeps them apart.
