This movie always fun to watch and rewatch. I like the songs and I like watching Singapore on a movie. It is also put head to head between family and passion.

Great romcom/drama. Thought the performances were excellent. Singapore was a beautiful backdrop.

Really enjoyed this movie. Gutsy song choice for the crescendo if you ask me but I am probly over thinking it.

A Cinderella story for the modern age, Crazy Rich Asians is a dazzling rom-com that immerses you in a world of opulence, culture, and family drama. It’s a stylish and heartfelt film that shines thanks to its charismatic cast and vibrant setting. The Good The film's most notable strength is its stunning visual presentation. The cinematography beautifully captures the lavish world of Singapore's elite, making the extravagant parties and fashion feel genuinely spectacular. The performances, particularly from Constance Wu, Henry Golding, and Michelle Yeoh, are pitch-perfect, bringing emotional depth to the familiar romantic plot. The film also excels at exploring the clash between American individualism and traditional Asian values, adding a compelling cultural layer to the central love story. The Bad While visually stunning, the film's pacing can feel a bit rushed, particularly in its final act, which resolves some conflicts too quickly. The supporting characters, while fun, occasionally feel one-dimensional, serving more as eye-candy or plot devices than fully fleshed-out individuals. Some critics have pointed out that the film's representation of "Asianness" feels limited, focusing on a specific, privileged demographic and not fully exploring the diversity of Singaporean culture. Ultimately, Crazy Rich Asians is a milestone romantic comedy that expertly blends classic genre tropes with a fresh, culturally rich perspective, offering a delightful and important cinematic experience.
