Yes, as a tax write-off. The cast and crew even had a "funeral screening" of it, since they were so sure it would never see the light of day.

They DID not release it, they og had it set for 2023 release. Ketchup Entertainment and V10 Entertainment bought the rights to it since they believed in the film. They are the ones who distributed this film.
