A bit more like a PowerPoint than a documentary A roller coaster ride of levels of interest I was already incredibly anti-military but hoooo boy this did not help

A sharp and engaging retrospective on the journalism of Seymour “Sy” Hersh, and it left me wishing for a full docuseries that could really dig into the breadth of his investigative career. Even so, this stands as a strong reminder that the work itself is the story. That piece by piece, revelation by revelation, Hersh has spent decades exposing how governments, particularly the U.S. Government, can overreach in ways that are brutal, inhumane, and often hidden from public view and the film excellently captures the urgency and necessity of a free press. Highly recommend. Coming to Netflix later this month.
