- Zokkiie23 de marzo de 2026I fucking love Hellblazer, and yeah… this one delivers. It really leans into that dark, grimy magic vibe and doesn’t clean anything up, which is exactly how it should be. The atmosphere is great, more dirty and brutal than anything else, and Constantine feels spot on—cynical, messy, and completely in his element. The whole thing just has that raw occult feel that fits perfectly. Not flawless, a few bits could’ve been tighter, but honestly it nails the tone so well I don’t really care.

This animated feature doesn’t pull punches and that’s exactly why it works. It’s grim, stylish and soaked in occult madness. The animation style is clean and simple, you might say doesn’t fully match the horror-heavy tone, but I found it gave the story a surreal edge, like a graphic novel come to life. The R-rating isn’t just for show: there’s blood, profanity, and some truly disturbing imagery. It’s Constantine at his rawest. City of Demons is a dark gem in the DC animated universe. If you’re into gritty supernatural thrillers with heart and bite, this one’s worth summoning. Bring on Part 2. I’ll be waiting in the shadows
