- neuroparadox2025年7月29日Just a good, very funny, solid movie. Jon Hamm is great as Fletch, and all the side characters are just as good or, at least, always interesting (Griz and The Countess stand out in my mind to name a couple). I hope honestly hope they do turn this into a movie franchise, cause there are like 11 books and I year for more of Jon Hamm's saucy quips! If they could make the actual mysteries a little deeper or intriguing that would be great too, this one is kind of flat and meh but it works. There's no reason you can't have a good, funny movie and still has a compelling mystery (see: Knives Out). If they could mange that on the next one....mmmm chef's kiss baby! 🤌💋
- Kevin Ward2025年7月6日Inspector: We obtained footage from the store around the corner. Fletch: Where the fudge is made? I must admit that I had a really good time with this. The dry sarcastic humor is completely up my alley. Jon Hamm is really inspired casting and he works really well here. I don’t remember much from the Chevy Chase films, so I’m not bound by any allegiance to those. I can only speak to this version which is a fun and funny mystery/caper. Vibe was similar to The Kid Detective from 2020 which I loved. If you liked that flick, you might enjoy this one as well.
