- john adams7d agomindless mayhem but fun
- Antonio MaGiJanuary 10, 2026Not perfect, but not bad.
- JakeysDecember 27, 2025Falls into the so bad it's good category. This is a stupid movie that survives solely on Schwarzenegger's pure star power.
- beastwarkingDecember 13, 2025It's so dumb, but at the same time, so great. More cheese than a stuffed crust pizza, chews scenery like cows do cud, and everyone hams it up so much they may as well have cast literal pigs. I love this movie.
- arekyyzDecember 10, 2025This was a pure fun, classic Arnie action movie. Loved it!
- Sideshow88June 14, 2025This is one of my all time favourite films
- viktorsmiOctober 31, 2025Perfect little flick to "let off some steam". Is it the best western action movie ever made? No, how can it be? This is one of the earliest entries in the classic 80s/90s action movies. You can play a drinking game finding all continuity errors and bloopers. But it's got a lot of charm, and it was a crucial milestone for later Arnold movies. Just relax and enjoy the punching sounds.
- JeffJuly 20, 2025It's tempting to think of this as just "cheesy" or whatever, but Commando has a pretty deliberate sense of humor to it, at times feeling like it's trying to be a bit of commentary on the genre without overdoing it. Way more interesting to revisit than I thought it'd be, heck of a movie on multiple levels.
- VandytNovember 15, 2025I might be overgenerous giving it 5 stars out of nostalgia, but I don’t mind since the protagonist is a legend in a legendary movie
- mickerdooAugust 15, 2025Pretty on-par, shallow 80s action flick. Cringey intro. Otherwise, just here for the punches and explosions. Chong was nice addition.
- Wes CandelaSeptember 12, 2025Arnold Schwarzenegger is matrix in commando I’ll be back Bennett It’s a completely ridiculous movie that I watched when I was 11 years old So it touches a place in my heart and I laugh at specific parts Stallone released first blood part two when this was released At this point Sly was winning. Because two years after this, Schwarzenegger teamed up with director John McTernan and began making great films like 1987’s predator which changed the game This movie is not predator This movie may very well be why Schwarzenegger decided to go with A list talent moving forward. It is very soon afterwards we would get terminator two or T2 at which point, sly was releasing Rocky V. Schwarzenegger was about to go on a winning streak What does any of this have to do with commando? You might ask… Nothing, I’m dictating to the phone thinking out loud If you’re going to fire a machine gun at 20 people in a film and have them all drop… If a grenade gets thrown and five buildings explode … If you want to see completely unrealistic, poorly developed scripts that entertain you nonetheless, or if you just want to revisit this for nostalgic purposes like I did Do it Let off some steam Bennett
- Mr. DSeptember 6, 2025Classic. Take out everyone and quit the game.
- MikePearceOctober 8, 2025So bad. Not even the good bad. Ridiculous.
- tellumAugust 17, 2025This is the stereotype of action movies.
