Cocoon
Directed by Peleg LeviIn an underground, dark and abandoned parking lot, a car arrives. Inside sits Alex, a dependent boy who's waiting for his mother, that made a quick stop at the mall. He decides to search for her, and finds himself in an unending maze where voices echo and people vanish around corners. A local security guard appears demanding to help in the search, and draws him into a a nightmare that threatens his existence. Alex discovers what the guard is hiding from him; Children that don't mature, stuck in the lot forever. 'Cocoon' illuminates a coming of age story in a different light - where children mature only when they accept a warped view of reality; not in order to mature, but to survive.
