Based loosely upon the classic story by J. Sheridan Le Fanu, this updated vampire soap opera focuses on Laura, who arrives at an isolated town searching for answers to the mysterious death of Monique, her estranged sister. Upon discovering a hidden diary, she soon learns of Monique's dark affair with Carmilla, a mysterious beauty that seduces her into the life of a vampire.
