- Doc Worm30 december 2025Jameson Brook’s Bomb City starts out as almost a slice of life film. You learn who these characters are. You learn about their city. You learn about their problems and become truly invested. After the first act it’s clear that it begins to descend into a drama about the many injustices and prejudices we all face and how all of that comes down squarely and horrifyingly on one man. Its impressive and disappointing to see that the director, cinematographer and any many of the actors have done almost nothing in the film space since this movies release as Bomb City stands to be one of the most effective indie crime dramas I’ve seen in recent memory.
