Chronicles the 2008 season of Slipstream, a team of professional cyclists who pledge a no-drug philosophy, subject themselves to frequent drug tests, and seek to be competitive at the Tour de France. We meet key members of the team as well as their owner and manager, who seek corporate sponsorship. Will they find a sponsor, will team members make the 2008 Olympic team, will Slipstream compete in the Tour de France, and if so, will they make their mark? A young star emerges, two aging stars face decline, and the steep mountainous climbs of France await. We see a marriage strained, bones break, and Champagne flow.
