Bicentennial Man Ratings & Reviews
- Scott Seifert3d agoI think this is a really underrated film that really needs to have a second life. It is a bit slow and it is too long, but it’s really good.
- DonkeyFlixJanuary 1, 2026There are a lot of great films that tackle the theme of “what does it even really mean to BE human”. This one belabors that question for over 2 hours, but it can’t provide an interesting answer.
- JakeysDecember 24, 2025I really liked this movie as a kid, but it's a bit plodding rewatching as an adult. Lot of heart though, Robin Williams is great as always.
- DamecambridgeOctober 19, 2025Weirdly only found this movie about 5 years ago - even though it stars one of the biggest names in the industry of that time. And like his other movies Robin Williams is at his best.
- Mike LyonsJune 23, 2025A modern take on Pinocchio. Robin Williams, casting off his manic brand of comedy, shines in a more serious role as Andrew, an android who breaks free of his programming and spends two centuries in pursuit of what it means to be human. Funny at times, but it is ultimately a beautiful exploration of human strengths and frailties. Well worth watching, and the James Horner score is the icing on the proverbial cake.
