- ᑕ∈ᖇ∈ᔕ/ᔕTEᖇᒪIᑎG30 mars 2026It kind of looks...not good. It resembles something the animation studio that brought us Foodfight would make if it were being resurrected using a religious tax break. The character design for the three main kids is laughably lazy. I bet the father of these kids is praying that they never take a DNA test, because I don't think he's tithing his 10% let alone taking on three child support payments for three kids that all look just like him. And that's just talking about the cover, there's more with the same face if you actually get stoned enough to fast forward through it for a few minutes like I did. I don't know which is worse between the motion capture or the lip syncing. Thank God it changes animation styles often enough that you can tell that they reuse a lot of clips of the same CGI animation of these preachy kids and their hot air balloon. It would have been a better choice to animate the whole thing in the four or five different 2D art styles than making these teens who look like they're just the cocomelon kids when they get older. I guess the texture work on the cross was done well and the voice acting is okay for its intended demographic. The CGI kids are just really fuckin' ugly, man. I'm watching this part with green leaves as I type this and I'm just thinking there's not enough green leaf on God's green earth to make these kids not terrifying to look at. At least there was an ad with these cute little dogs in the middle of it because I watched it on ad-supported Plex. I really needed that visual pallette cleanser because I feel like my eyeballs are about to go the way of Jimi Hendrix if I watch any more of this. Poor Jimi. Big R.I.P
