Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F Ratings & Reviews
- AZaragoza62October 23, 2025Good it was a lot of fun to watch and it was really calm. I had a lot of comedy in there. I enjoyed that I gave her a five out of 1 to 5 well to me. It’s a 10.
- jackmeatMarch 5, 2025My quick rating - 6.8/10. As a fan of the original Beverly Hills Cop series, the announcement of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F brought back a wave of nostalgia for me. This latest installment manages to merge the charm of the past with the sensibilities of modern cinema, delivering another amusing romp through the iconic streets of Beverly Hills. The plot centers around Axel Foley, played by the ageless Eddie Murphy, whose daughter, Jane's (Taylour Paige) life is threatened. This new twist in the storyline gives the film an emotional depth that adds to the usual mix of comedy and action. Foley teams up with a new partner, Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) bringing a fresh dynamic to the screen, while old pals return to lend a hand in unraveling a conspiracy. Both Judge Reinhold and John Ashton return as Rosewood and Taggart and continue their amazing comedic chemistry. Murphy's performance is as vibrant as ever, proving he hasn't lost his touch. His comedic timing and charismatic screen presence anchor the film, making it feel like a natural continuation of the series and not a sequel 30 years after the last installment. Kevin Bacon steps in as the villain, delivering a subtle performance that adds a layer of menace to the story. Bacon's ability to play a good villain is once again on display, providing a formidable adversary for Foley. The action sequences are well-executed, keeping us engaged with a mix of high-stakes chases and intense confrontations. The film also succeeds in delivering solid laughs, blending humor seamlessly with the action. There are plenty of nods to the original films that will please long-time fans, while the new elements ensure it stands on its own for newcomers. I was a bit apprehensive but this flick is a worthy sequel that outshines one or two of its predecessors. It captures the essence of what made the original series great while updating it for today's audience. The film strikes a balance between honoring the past and embracing the present, resulting in an entertaining and satisfying experience. Whether you're a fan of the original films or just looking for a fun movie night, this latest installment is definitely worth a watch.

- ƇAugust 6, 2025I thought Beverly Hills Cop 4 Axel F was amazing 🤩 I thought it was better than the number 3. To see Axel (Eddie Murphy), Billy (judge reinhold, tagart (John Ashton) and serge, all the gang back together was fantastic for me as I grew up on Beverly Hills cop films they are literally my fav films of all. This film did not disappoint at all had loads of action, comedy like the others. It was nice to see Kevin bacon as the bad guy and he never disappoints and meeting axels daughter who’s played her part well. This film brought so much great memories back from my childhood made me so happy. Thank you Eddie and the crew and I’m hoping for Beverly Hills cop 5 soon 😏 anyway watch the film you will love it 🥰
- SixpaxJune 28, 2025Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F isn’t a bad film—it just doesn’t quite match the blockbuster energy of the original classics. It leans heavily on nostalgia, much like many modern streaming releases, but to its credit, it does so with enough charm to almost stand on its own. While it’s enjoyable and definitely worth a watch, especially for longtime fans, it doesn’t have the same rewatch appeal as the originals. If given the choice, I’d likely revisit Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2 before coming back to this one. Still, for a Netflix-era sequel, it does a decent job of keeping the spirit alive.
- gpk1November 17, 2024Great movie.
- Mister ArnMay 22, 2025Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F successfully blends elements of a remake and a sequel by featuring both the original cast and new characters. The film retains the action and pacing of the original, but it lacks the energy and wild charm that a young Eddie Murphy brought to the first version. However, it's enjoyable for its nostalgic value, making it a worthwhile watch for fans seeking a trip down memory lane. Despite this, it ultimately doesn't offer any memorable moments
- koverboardJanuary 10, 2025Good old Axel
