Where to Watch Between the Temples
Between the Temples Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin WardJuly 2, 2025🇵🇭bias but Dolly Deleon steals every scene she’s in. Just saw Jason Schwartzman was the most watched actor of 2023. (Nic Cage was in seven f🤩king movies last year, so that’s pretty impressive….or maybe it isn’t.) Schwartzman’s great in this again, though. It’s weird, and awkward and Jewish, and a little tough to really parse it out, thematically, but the dinner scene is hilariously cringe and might be my favorite Sundance moment of the fest. Carol Kane is still wonderfully weird and she and Schwartzman have a strange chemistry really works when they’re together. Also, I always enjoy clever titles and this one is very clever.
