Better Watch Out Ratings & Reviews
- sti53January 8, 2026Isn't this exciting? *big grin* I had very low expectations for this one, but it worked out to be a decent sub 90 min flick. A little bit like a modernized Scream with some cheap jump scares in the first act, and then escalating.. a lot! I noticed a fair amount of details/hidden information in the background here and there, but I bet I missed a lot as well. Worth a watch if you just want to be entertained for 90 minutes.
- thegirlyouddieforMay 19, 2025plot twist I was not expecting ! 10/10
- NonPlayableContentOctober 11, 2025They got me in the second half fr. A fun thriller that has very high highs.
- trrsDecember 29, 2025Intresting plot twist of a movie.
- Charlie.HughesDecember 26, 2025So this is what Damien does after the omen...🤣
- Nishant AroraDecember 22, 2025Better Watch Out is a wickedly sharp subversion of holiday home-invasion thrillers that keeps you guessing until the final frame. You won't look at a paint can the same way again. The Good The film features a brilliant, star-turning performance by Levi Miller, who balances charm and menace with unsettling ease. The script is impressively clever, flipping tired genre tropes on their head to create genuine shock. Additionally, the vibrant, Christmas-themed cinematography provides a wonderful aesthetic contrast to the dark, escalating tension of the plot. The Bad The shift in tone during the second act is jarring and might alienate viewers expecting a traditional slasher. Some supporting characters feel a bit thin, serving more as plot devices than fully realized people. Finally, the mean-spirited nature of the humor can occasionally feel a bit heavy-handed for those seeking a lighter holiday watch. Verdict This is a bold, inventive thriller that rewards fans of dark comedy and suspenseful storytelling. It is a must-watch for anyone tired of the standard holiday movie formula.
- christinav61December 20, 2025I didn’t really like this movie
- DevlinukrDecember 18, 2025The "Funny Games" of Christmas movies. Very festive and highly disturbing.
- Dexter DavisDecember 4, 2025This was a really good movie....it shows you ( in depth) just how evil & diabolical, ( some) youngsters can be ...( It's definitely worth a watch)....
- ZokkiieNovember 30, 2025A fun, twisted little Christmas horror that starts off simple and then goes off the deep end in a good way. Not perfect, but the chaos, dark humour, and solid cast make it an easy, entertaining watch.
- carter2882November 28, 2025Better Watch Out is one of the most insane thrillers I have ever seen!!! The movie is a very low budget movie that in a sense feels like Home Alone. The cast in this movie is really good, especially the kid who portrayed Luke. The movie doesn’t waste a second of time and just jumps into it, so your entertained throughout the film. The kills are also pretty good in this movie. The last hour of the film is the most insane stuff, it will have you shocked at the ending was great too. I also love that it’s set around Christmas, it fully embraces the Christmas spirit with the music, the snow, the decorations, and so much more. So overall a fun enough thriller with an insane last hour that you are not expecting, trust me!!
- ns7wtOctober 20, 2025Great movie. Awesome twist
