I genuinely tried—twice—and both times it lulled me straight to sleep. Not in a cosy, atmospheric way… more in a “nothing is happening and nothing seems likely to happen” way. The premise hints at mystery, tension, maybe even a quiet character study, but none of that ever materialises. Instead it just sort of… meanders. Scenes stretch on without purpose, the tone feels flat, and the film never builds to anything that justifies its own existence. Even low-budget thrillers usually give you something—a twist, a mood, a standout performance. Here? Just dull sand, still water, and an overwhelming urge to nod off. It isn’t offensive or terrible enough to rant about. It’s simply nothing, which somehow makes it worse.
