- Daniel GustavssonOctober 12, 2024I really like this movie for what it is. The jokes are rather funny, the script is way out there and the cast works. It's not taking itself serious and going in with that mindset as well sure gives a lot of chuckles.

This movie is basically an amazing homage to both Baywatch series, but appears to have been written for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I was not expecting much, but actually enjoyed this movie. It looks like it has been written for Dwayne and Effron and they both shine during the film. This is the first time that I have seen anything in a Zac Effron movie, but has changed my opinion and I actually enjoy his movies now. I particularly enjoyed the references to the stars previous highlights, being brought forward to a new generation. The best part of the movie for me may have been the co-stars. It has given us the chance to invest time and emotions into upcoming stars. Little mitch is a nice touch too.

- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025Something about The Rock cursing just doesn't work. Though that's only 1 of the 100 problems this movie runs face first into. I already dedicated almost two hours to watching this shitty movie and really don't want to spend so long on this review. The jokes miss 9 out of 10 times. The acting and dialogue is so cringy at times. This movie really doesn't know what it wants to be. It tries to be badass wit the music it plays, extremely crude in lame ways, and actually takes it self way to fucking serious. Lastly, the editing and adr used in this is a shitshow. I can't believe this is the final product. Guess I'm glad I didn't pay at least.
