Balls Up Ratings & Reviews
- Dave2d agoBalls Up was another cookie-cutter, random-nonsense comedy. It wasn’t complete trash, but it was far from original. The formula is pretty obvious: insert two opposite characters with completely different personalities, give them some ridiculous task to follow throughout the movie, and then throw in a bunch of random, loosely connected nonsense to keep viewers laughing. It is in no way a strong story, but there were definitely funny parts, and I did end up enjoying it. I would put this in the same comedy style as Without a Paddle or Dude, Where’s My Car? funny, pointless, and ridiculous. The difference is that those movies felt like the originals of that style, while this one feels more like a rebranded knockoff. Still, it’s worth the watch if you have some time to waste and just want something dumb and funny. - Arne HelsethApril 17, 2026We had many laughs and a good time. Not the most important movie of all time, but well worth a watch if you go in for some mindless fun.
- Eastcoastsid2d agoNot a lot of connection to each other but kinda funny
- Jean SeanMay 1, 2026It's a 2000's era slapstick comedy but with 2026 sensibilities so nothing is offensive or edgy but theres lots of bad words and dick jokes. The premise is Idiocracy level stupid but despite it, the movie still managed to get some chuckles in my household. The highlights for me were Sacha Baron Cohen's character and his over the top Brazilian accent and the entire village scene with Eric Andre. If you hate Mark Wahlberg, this movie will not change your mind about him. If you like the Farrelly brothers, you might like it. It's definitely not Peter Farrelly's strongest film and is an overall forgettable comedy but not as terrible as people made it seem.
- parktool69April 17, 2026terrible
- John.chavez1April 28, 2026I can't even bring myself to give this a single star or even a half. As this movie is total waste of time.
- FabFlixApril 16, 2026Stupid and silly fun. Worth a watch for a good laugh
- Amouse21April 23, 2026Waste of time, not funny whatsoever. Any of the even mildly "entertaining" scenes were in the trailer. A paint by the numbers, poorly executed, no chemistry pairing, and plotless waste of space. Pass on this one, you've been warned...
- Robert SvenssonApril 15, 2026Stupid, but fun. Loved the two characters of the smart techie nerd and the pretty pathetic Sales Guy. Just like in real life actually.
- marlon1116April 27, 2026Very Funny with alot of Sex jokes 😁
- prosewallApril 27, 2026It might be funny if you and your buddies had scripted it yourselves when in high school - it just fails to land. Rubbish
- DevlinukrApril 26, 2026A genuinely terrible movie. Zero original ideas, stupid story, incredibly juvenile.
- thomasrogers753April 21, 2026How does Mark Wahlberg keep finding himself in these kind of movies?
- Cozma DoruApril 26, 2026Comedie funny
- Pamela PaulApril 24, 2026Funny. I liked how they worked together. I felt something was missing but overall good watch.
