Directed by Svend GadeIn an old house in central Copenhagen live ballet dancer Else and her sister, the director's secretary Jenny. Below them live painter Jørgen and his friend Snorri, who is a singer. One day Else literally runs into Jørgen on the stairs, and from there fate weaves the threads of the four young people's lives together in a story about art, money and love.
