Directed by Manik ChatterjeeAmit (Rakesh Roshan) is a big city boy, but his parents (Utpal Dutt and Usha Kiran) want him to marry a village girl, Madhuri (Rekha). Amit reluctantly agrees and goes through the wedding ceremony, but on the pretext that the dowry gold is not genuine, leaves his bride.
