A little girl, daughter of rich Dwarkaprasad and Lakshmi, escapes from her kidnappers and her parents cannot find her. Shankar, gardener of Dwarka Prasad finds a child, names her Jyoti and brings her up as his own. Dwarka Prasad's son Vijay, daughter Asha and the gardener's daughter Jyoti grow up together.
