- tabatha288January 24, 2025I loved it! Hoping for a part 2.
- agntorgMarch 3, 2025Enjoyable movie. Good action mixed with humor. Would watch again.
- Junior ReyesSeptember 27, 2025If you’re in the mood for an escapist action flick, and you’re a fan of these leads, this entertaining movie will not disappoint. The plot basically functions as a fusion of the sequels to "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "True Lies" that were never produced.
- jackmeatMarch 4, 2025My quick rating - 6.0/10. Netflix flexes its budget once again with this movie, a lighthearted, action-packed spy comedy directed by Seth Gordon (The Night Agent). While the film is nowhere near groundbreaking, it delivers enough fast-paced fun, humor, and over-the-top set pieces to keep audiences entertained. Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz make a solid return to the screen, playing former CIA agents forced back into the game after their peaceful cover is blown. Their chemistry is enjoyable, and while the action sequences push the limits of believability—seriously, they'd be dead ten times over in real life—the film doesn't take itself too seriously. The humor helps smooth over the absurdity, making it a decent popcorn flick. The supporting cast adds extra charm, with Glenn Close as the sharp-witted mother figure and Jamie Demetriou hamming it up as a bumbling English agent. McKenna Roberts also stands out among the younger cast, proving she can hold her own in the chaos. The action scenes are well-choreographed, and while the plot remains extremely simple, the film strikes a good balance between comedy and spectacle. Ultimately, Back in Action is exactly what it sets out to be: an easygoing, watch-and-forget spy romp that won’t be winning awards—but might just be setting itself up for a sequel.

- Dave BarnesApril 22, 2025Lightweight but enjoyable spy thriller. No James Bond but an easy watch.
- ZokkiieAugust 23, 2025Not terrible, not great—just kind of… there. The action has its moments, but the story feels recycled and never really clicks. A couple of fun set pieces keep it watchable, but overall it’s a forgettable popcorn flick that doesn’t leave much behind once the credits roll.
- JohnAugust 19, 2025Action sequences, car chases, fight choreography, cinematography, C.G.I., locations, and the basic concept were all great, but the movie suffered from such a cringey script, over acting, and especially dumb villains. It tried to be an action comedy but the jokes were so bad and poorly delivered. Watch this one with the sound off and it would be okay.
- Jillian BroekFebruary 24, 2025Exactly what you would expect from this film. Entertaining but nothing to write home about.
- NamMay 3, 2025Decent fun movie for family
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025The suburban couple that are secret spies is such a tired concept—why Diaz chose this as her comeback project I have no idea. At the same time, it’s serviceable enough that my ten year old son really enjoyed it. Occasionally funny, but very often not-so-much. I audibly groaned at the TV when Foxx did the Mentos in a coke bottle thing. My wife looked at me like I was insane and there’s nothing I can do about that.
- Carl MeyerFebruary 27, 2025Was really good 👍
- Luke EricksonFebruary 1, 2025This was a ridiculous movie but a fun ride. Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx were great and there are some great subtle parents references thrown in throughout the movie.
- ptopnzJanuary 31, 2025Easy watching, funny and enjoyable.
- Iby OmidakhshJanuary 27, 2025This movie made me want to sit on my TV and watch my couch.
