This movie is simply a blast. Beat for beat. Their is so much to love with this film. The originality, the creativity, the amazing cast. I was glued to my seat during every chase and invested in every conversation. The editing and cinematography are some of the best I've ever seen. The way this film plays as a giant soundtrack and incorporates everything from doors slamming to guns firing to the beat is perfect. I also found it to be unpredictable. I can't wait to see it again!

An absolutely sublime film. Visuals, action, acting, storyline, actual character development so you care about what happens, love, passion, stunts…. But the music… oh my god… the choices of songs and the way they are woven into the scenes. This film uses music in a way that few other films ever do… it is a living, breathing character in it’s own right. Watch the opening sequence…yeah, there is action and excitement… but then watch the coffee buying scene and just drink it in. The music, the movement, the timing… and then rewind and watch it again to catch all the graffiti, the signs, the incorporated sounds of city life, all built into the very best choreographed opening sequence I have ever seen. This film is beautiful. To the eyes and ears and heart and mind. It’s a joyous, romantic, dramatic action-filled musical rollercoaster.

With its unique blend of action, music, and character-driven storytelling, "Baby Driver" distinguishes itself from typical action/heist films. Super cool how music is used as an integral part of the storytelling and action; it drives the plot, influences the pacing of scenes, and provides heartfelt character developments.
Chicago Sun-Times
Richard Roeper
Edgar Wright's Baby Driver is one of the most entertaining thrill rides of this year, this decade.
Baltimore Magazine
Max Weiss
It's a wild ride, a highly caffeinated tour de force filled with great action, lots of deadpan humor, and the kind of prevailing coolness that makes you want to drink espresso, troll vintage record stores, and watch old Steve McQueen films when it's over.
MovieFreak.com
Sara Michelle Fetters
Baby Driver might not live entirely up to the hype, but that doesn't make it any less wonderful, Wright once again showing he's a fearless genre-busting directorial wunderkind who's creative gas tank overflows in originality.
Culturess
Kristen Lopez
Wright's ensemble cast has great comedic timing that, coupled with the percussive score and smooth action setpieces, will you ready to peel out of the local theater.
Cineaste Magazine
Adam Nayman
Baby Driver is so poorly written on levels of plot, characterization and (especially) dialogue that Wright's typically first-rate craftsmanship fails to save it-and, in context, even becomes its own source of annoyance.
The Ringer
K. Austin Collins
The joy of Baby Driver is that, though you've seen versions of this story before, many times over, you've never seen it done quite like this.
Film Comment Magazine
Michael Sragow
At its best, it affects us like adrenaline mixed with laughing gas. But when Baby Driver, like the Energizer bunny, keeps going and going and going (as with half of Wright's other films, it's 20 minutes too long), it manages to run on fumes.
The Atlantic
Christopher Orr
Put in your metaphorical earbuds, turn the key in the ignition, and enjoy the cinematic highlight of the summer so far.
Flavorwire
Jason Bailey
In some ways, it feels like a step backward, considering the maturity and pathos that made his previous picture, 'The World's End,' one of his best. Still, you can't blame a director for wanting to pause his growth and play with his shiny Hollywood toys.
Chicago Reader
Andrea Gronvall
Oozing menace as addicted bank robbers, Jamie Foxx and Jon Hamm are all the more charismatic thanks to Bill Pope's luscious noir photography. Credit Jonathan Amos and Paul Machliss for the razor-sharp editing.
Wall Street Journal
Joe Morgenstern
This is not a philosophy of criminology, or a new pathology of antisocial behavior, but it makes for a terrific night at the movies.
National Newspaper Publishers Association
Dwight Brown
The car chase scenes are the guts of this oddball movie, and they don't disappoint.
Observer
Thelma Adams
Edgar Wright's crackling crime caper rises to the top of this summer's most entertaining movies. It satisfies my need for speed, baby.
Slate
Sam Adams
In Edgar Wright's Baby Driver, even the machine guns fire in time with the beat.
Village Voice
Bilge Ebiri
Wright's movie delivers action that's convincing and concrete - the cars seem real, even when the people don't.
Reel Talk Online
Candice Frederick
So fun, oddly romantic, and revitalizes the film soundtrack
