Avengers: Infinity War Ratings & Reviews
- COCOFebruary 23, 2025Life peaked during this movie. I’m afraid we’ll never know these levels of peak ever again.
- Eric BakkeOctober 11, 2024Avengers: Infinity War stands as the "Empire Strikes Back" of the MCU, delivering a superhero epic that redefines the genre. With intricate and breathtaking action sequences, it elevates the stakes in a way that few films can. Without a doubt, for me it claims the title of the best movie of 2018.
- Kristian OdlandJuly 29, 2025This is absolute perfection!
- Steven Schwalger2d agoThis was peak Marvel. I hope Doomsday can hit like this but I doubt it will.
- CallumDecember 24, 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Avengers: Infinity War – When the villain wins, and it sticks. It’s still slightly wild that Marvel committed to this ending. Half the universe gone, heroes dusted mid-sentence, no last-minute save. Even knowing Endgame was coming, Infinity War lands with real weight — because in the moment, it has the courage to stop where most blockbusters would panic and reverse course. Yes, in hindsight the shock is softened. Marvel clearly knew they were making Endgame, and that everyone wasn’t staying dead forever. But that doesn’t undo how bold this felt at the time. The film doesn’t play like part one of a neat two-parter — it plays like a full story that just happens to end in failure. What elevates it is Thanos. He isn’t just a CGI obstacle; he’s the spine of the film. He asks uncomfortable questions, and worse — he asks them calmly. Watching this now, it feels very much of its time. Climate anxiety, overconsumption, the quiet fear that we know we’re doing wrong by the planet and still can’t seem to stop. Thanos represents the terrifying idea that maybe survival requires decisions we’re not brave enough to make ourselves. I don’t agree with him — mass murder isn’t a policy platform — but the fact the film lets you consider his logic is what makes Infinity War linger. It suggests that if we don’t change, something will force the issue eventually. And that someone, somewhere, will be willing to make the hard calls when the rest of us won’t. This is Marvel at its most confident: juggling tone, scale, humour, and dread without blinking. It doesn’t give you closure. It gives you silence. 🍷 A dark red, heavy on the tannins — the kind that sits in your chest and doesn’t resolve cleanly.
- Richard DavisDecember 12, 2025Peak Marvel, along with End Game. It all went downhill from here...
- Harish CousalNovember 16, 2025Peak Marvel chaos. Every frame feels heavy, and Thanos carries the entire universe on his back.
- Your GuyOctober 26, 2025MCU glory!
- Brad.Plex.October 13, 2024Marvel spent 18 movies and a decade to culminate in this first installment and boy does it deliver. The Mad Titan has arrived and the stakes have never been greater.
- gas station pump lighterOctober 25, 2025marvel really bled out once this movie came out, hope doomsday will be better than this
- SkeltonApril 21, 2025Absolutely legendary Avengers: Infinity War is a cinematic rollercoaster that hits the ground running and never lets up. It’s bold, intense, and unapologetically massive—everything you want from a Marvel crossover event and more. With the MCU’s biggest ensemble cast yet, the film juggles heroes, worlds, and stakes with surprising ease. Every character feels purposeful, every battle pulse-pounding. But let’s be real—this is Thanos’s movie. Josh Brolin’s performance is hauntingly powerful, making the Mad Titan one of cinema’s most compelling villains. The ending? It doesn’t just shock—it stuns. Silence in the theater. Goosebumps. A cliffhanger for the ages. Infinity War isn’t just a prelude to Endgame—it’s a masterpiece in its own right. 5/5 because anything less would be a snap in the wrong direction.
- tellumAugust 21, 2025This is the ‘Empire Strikes Back’ of the MCU, to the point that I’m still impressed that they didn’t get cold feet and committed to that ending.
- gradientorangeJune 9, 2025the first truly perfect marvel project by my standard. it has all the marvel elements at their best. great story that keeps you engaged from start to finish. characters with development and relationships you can easily care about. heart and emotion. humor that doesn’t distract, disrupt, or disrespect. impressive action and plot with stakes. music, CGI, and all elements of production are on their A-game. this movie makes hours and hours and hours of content feel worth every minute. what a triumph
