Arthur Christmas Ratings & Reviews
- WingersDecember 28, 2025Good family fun Christmas film 🎅🎁🎄👌
- tuffpetDecember 20, 2025Or kids favourite Christmas movie, and fun for us too!
- Brian RobertsDecember 14, 2025🎅 Why Our Family Watches Arthur Christmas Every Year You know that moment every December when someone says, “What should we watch tonight?” — and before anyone can answer, Arthur Christmas just mysteriously starts playing? Yeah. That’s not a coincidence. That’s tradition. ⸻ 🎁 Because Arthur Is Basically All of Us Arthur is a total sweetheart — clumsy, overexcited, and somehow always wearing a sweater that looks like your grandma knitted it blindfolded. He cares way too much about one kid getting their gift… which is exactly why we love him. He’s proof that even if you’re awkward, anxious, and probably shouldn’t be allowed near a sleigh, you can still save Christmas through pure chaotic good energy. ⸻ 🧦 Because the Claus Family Is a Hot Mess There’s Santa, who’s basically retired but refuses to admit it. Steve, the overachieving brother who runs Christmas like Amazon Prime on steroids. And GrandSanta, the cranky old man who’d probably still be flying reindeer without GPS or brakes. It’s like watching your own family try to agree on where to go for dinner — but with elves, explosions, and reindeer poop. ⸻ 🎄 Because It’s the Perfect Mix of Heart and Hilarity It’s sweet enough to make you tear up, but not so syrupy that you need an insulin shot. The jokes land for everyone — kids laugh at the elves zooming around like caffeinated ninjas, and adults laugh at the painfully accurate office politics of the North Pole. (“Did someone CC Santa on that memo?”) It’s the rare Christmas movie that’s both touching and genuinely funny every single year. ⸻ 🦌 Because It Reminds Us Why We Do All This Holiday Madness Arthur Christmas is that annual reminder that Christmas isn’t about perfect trees, matching pajamas, or remembering who got Aunt Carol in the gift exchange (it’s never me, thankfully). It’s about doing something kind for someone — even if you trip over the wrapping paper trying to do it. Arthur doesn’t save Christmas with fancy tech or perfect planning. He saves it because he cares. And that hits differently when you’re surrounded by the people you care about most — even if they’ve stolen your blanket on the couch again. ⸻ 🎬 And Honestly… Because It Just Feels Like Us Every family has “that one movie.” The one that plays while someone’s half-asleep, someone else is on their phone, and yet somehow everyone still laughs at the same parts. For us, that’s Arthur Christmas. It’s become the official start of “OK, now it’s actually Christmas.” We watch it, we quote it, we love it — because it’s funny, it’s chaotic, and it’s full of heart. Just like us.
