Arsenic and Old Lace Ratings & Reviews
- ProjectVIP2000January 4, 2026Theater of the absurd? I love classic old films but I feel like this one just didn’t stand the test of time like others have.
- KylachamJuly 13, 2025I want to rate this higher, I really do, but I have to address just how exhausting this energetic movie became. Every performance is dialed up; 100% energy, 100% of the time, giving the audience little to no time to take a breath between frantic comedic moments, leaving this reviewer feeling honestly quite drained by the end. Otherwise it's a delightful, zany comedy that delivers bizarre situations and laughs that would be worthy of 4.5 Stars, and it may well be that enjoyable if you're well rested and ready for non-stop frenetic energy.
- Mrvann70January 9, 2025Funny, great
- castlegaryDecember 19, 2025Cute movie but exaggerated, kind of over the top. It's always fun to watch Cary Grant, a great actor, and the aunts played the part well. It's more like slapstick comedy
- jessiehavelOctober 11, 2025Best Halloween movie ever!
