My quick rating - 3.0/10. Another one, I haven't read anything beyond the genre "horror," so we'll see. Hopefully, this will be the only thing you end up reading about this one, since it is pretty damn boring. The story itself just plods along with so little happening. The dialogue is stiff as a board throughout, delivered as exciting by the no-name (to me) cast, although I did admittedly recognize one person in it, Stefan Dennis from Neighbours, which is a show Rebecca watches down here. Anyways, the story is the usual going back to your hometown to find out what happened to "fill in the blank," and in this case, it is her parents. Everyone she runs into warns her to stay away from the place she grew up, but of course, she ignores them. Well, she kind of has to since there would be no movie otherwise. Not sure if that would be better or worse, to be honest. The trailer and the poster allude to a fairly creepy supernatural type flick, but in reality, you end up with a very bland and boring thriller. I found myself laughing AT the movie for stupid moments and supposed decisions a sane person would make far more than being scared or on the edge of my seat. Not something to waste your time with, but at least it had a few well-filmed scenes sprinkled in. Click the poster below if that makes you interested in checking this one out, LOL.
