Angel Has Fallen Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Sandra Knapp16. Juli 2025I loved it. Never a dull moment,.
- mickerdoo17. Januar 2026Has all the staples you look for from a one-man-army action piece. And some of the clichés. But Butler carries the mantle well.
- Manuel Frangis17. September 2025I just watched Angel Has Fallen and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is an intense and thrilling ride that grabs you right from the start and never lets go. As the third entry in the franchise, it manages to keep the action fresh while also deepening the story of Mike Banning. What makes it stand out is how it combines explosive set pieces with a more personal and emotional look at the main character. It is not just a nonstop action film, it is also a story about loyalty, betrayal, and redemption. By the time the credits rolled, I felt like I had experienced both a high energy spectacle and a meaningful journey. Gerard Butler once again delivers a strong performance as Secret Service agent Mike Banning. He brings both toughness and vulnerability to the role, showing us a man who is physically strong but also battling his own limitations and doubts. His ability to balance raw action with human emotion makes him one of the most compelling action heroes of recent years. Morgan Freeman as President Trumbull is always a welcome presence. His calm authority and wisdom add weight to the story, making the stakes feel even higher. The dynamic between Butler and Freeman is one of the highlights of the film. The plot takes a clever turn this time, with Banning framed for an assassination attempt on the President. This setup allows for a mix of action and suspense, as he must go on the run to clear his name while also protecting the very man he is accused of trying to kill. The fugitive angle keeps the story engaging, creating a constant sense of urgency. Watching Banning navigate dangerous situations while being hunted by his own government adds a new layer of intensity to the series. The action sequences are outstanding. From the drone attack early in the film to the hand to hand combat and large scale battles later on, each set piece feels unique and impactful. The stunts are brutal and gritty, giving the movie a sense of realism that keeps you invested. The explosions and shootouts are thrilling, but they never feel excessive because they are grounded in the emotional stakes of the story. You are not just watching action for the sake of action, you are watching a man fight for his life, his family, and his country. Speaking of family, one of the best parts of this movie is the introduction of Nick Nolte as Banning’s father. Their relationship adds humor, heart, and depth to the story. Nolte’s gruff personality and unpredictable behavior create some of the funniest and most touching moments in the film. The scenes between father and son give the story an emotional core that balances out the intense action. The themes of loyalty and redemption run strong throughout the film. Banning’s journey is not just about clearing his name, it is about proving his dedication to the people he loves and the values he stands for. The movie asks questions about trust, sacrifice, and resilience, and it answers them through both explosive action and quiet, heartfelt moments. The pacing is excellent, moving quickly without ever feeling rushed. The cinematography captures both the large scale chaos and the intimate character moments, while the soundtrack adds energy and tension at just the right times. By the end, I felt completely satisfied. Angel Has Fallen delivers everything you want from an action movie while also giving you characters to care about and themes to think about. It is gripping, emotional, and exciting from beginning to end. That is why I give it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.
- Michael Bridgman31. August 2025Well done, kept my interest the whole time.
- Scott and Sharon26. August 2025Horrible film. From 300 to shitty action films. Mr Butler, great job in the nosediving of your career.
- Colin Wicker25. August 2025Great movie. You would definitely want to watch Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen first to understand some of the references and background to this movie.
- Jesse Esquivel24. Juli 2025Loved it. So far so great 👍
- S. A.W.12. August 2025Definitely a more of a realistic action packed thriller. Based on near present day factual info...I wonder what President Trump thinks about this one.? . Of course still has some pretty unrealistic scenes where one guy kills 20-25 but great plot overall great movie.
- Christian2. August 2025Good action
- Mrvann7022. Juli 2025Great movie of the trilogy
- Arlin Petersen22. Juli 2025Kitchen ass movie
- jamessa8417. Juli 2025This was well worth watching even a 2nd time. And the Star studded cast was magnificent. Definitely a four thumbs up 👍👍👍👍.
- ርልዪረ7. Februar 2025I really enjoyed this movie. It was a fun watch! Another well done action-packed outing for the Fallen series. I'd say it's right up there with Olympus Has Fallen in terms of pacing, tension and non-stop action. The camera work was excellent, especially around the attack at the lake. Gerard expertly delivers as Mike Banning, as do Morgan Freeman, Nick Nolte, and Lance Reddick in their respective roles. Glad to see Lance in it - really enjoy watching him as Chief Irving on Bosch. Danny Huston did a good job as Wade Jennings. Gerard nails the tactical sequences and still looks pretty convincing as a former special ops guy turned secret service agent. Ready for the next installment when you are!
