Anastasia Ratings & Reviews
- M08YNovember 26, 2025Up there with the Disney greats for me. I must have seen Anastasia a dozen times over the years and it still feels just as warm and cosy now as it did then. It's a the usual fairy tale story of love, friendship, family and revenge with a more real-world backdrop. Rasputin is a pretty terrible villain in all honesty, he kinda just rattles around with evil green spirits doing evil things. Overall, I love this film and I intend to keep watching it occasionally for the foreseeable future. The Bluray is not particularly good unfortunately, a real let down. Watching the Bluray on my 65" tv left a lot to be desired in terms of sharpness and outline. The audio is a bit lackluster also, not the quality per-se but the mixing. I remember the VHS being much more consistent.
