After unexpectedly, and mysteriously, inheriting his estranged grandmother's mansion, Stanley DeFeo finds himself in the small town of Amityville - surrounded by buried family secrets and a sinister plot against him.
- theanonymousjJanuary 9, 2026This movie is garbage. You watch the same exposition 3 times over through different flashbacks and NOTHING is learned or gained from this repetitive nightmare. The main character is poorly written and played, never actually coming across like a believable human. The plot is predictable and unsatisfying, and the effects are nothing to write home about. My expectations were on the floor and I was still disappointed. Don't talk to me about the 5 minute montage of two men crossing one small field, I'm still angry I watched that.
