All three are in love with the daughter of Mrs. Jones, but the old lady decides that she needs a husband herself, and the story revolves around the efforts of each of the trio to persuade the daughter to become his affianced wife to the ultimate success of one, and also Mrs. Jones' capture of one of the trio as a husband.
