- Richard7. desember 2025When Addams Family Values came out, it felt like the perfect follow-up. The family’s eccentric charm was still front and center, but this time the humor was sharper and the story leaned even more into their wonderfully macabre world. The summer camp scenes with Wednesday and Pugsley were highlights, darkly funny, biting in their satire and unforgettable in how they clashed with “normal” kids. Meanwhile, the subplot with Uncle Fester and Debbie added a mix of absurd romance and villainy that kept things lively. Compared to the first film, the sequel had more confidence in its tone. It embraced the weirdness fully, delivering laughs while still celebrating the family’s love for one another. Watching it felt like revisiting old friends, only this time with even more outrageous situations.
- qmechan23. januar 2025The sequel surpasses the first With a more adult tone. Not the worst Show of spousal killing. For that sad top billing Still belongs, I feel, to Bobby Durst.

- Callum23. november 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Addams Family Values – The Macabre Masterpiece of My Childhood Addams Family Values isn’t just a sequel — it’s the Addams film that perfected the formula. This is Christina Ricci at her absolute best, the version of Wednesday that set the standard for every interpretation that followed. And she’s surrounded by an impossibly stacked cast: Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, Christopher Lloyd, Joan Cusack — every single one of them firing on all cylinders, chewing scenery with the kind of elegant theatrical chaos that only the Addamses can get away with. It’s genuinely hard to name a standout, because everyone is that good. Joan Cusack in particular is unforgettable — the perfect blend of unhinged and glamorous — but so is Raul Julia with his heartfelt melodrama, so is Lloyd’s unkempt charm, so is Huston’s icy warmth. It’s a film where every actor seems to settle into the role as though they were born for it. The one bittersweet note is Pugsley. Jimmy Workman was fantastic in the role, yet seemed to vanish afterwards while nearly everyone else in the cast went on to long, iconic careers. It’s one of those Hollywood mysteries that leaves you hoping he gets a cameo in Wednesday one day, the way Christina Ricci did. A little nod to the fans who grew up with this family. This movie was a staple of my childhood — endlessly rewatchable, endlessly quotable, endlessly funny in a way few family comedies ever manage. And I’ll admit it: part of me is scared to rewatch it now in my 40s in case the rose-tinted glow fades and I notice flaws I never saw as a kid. But until that day comes, it holds strong at a full five stars. In my memory, it’s perfect — wicked, witty, and wonderfully strange. 🍷 Pairing: A glass of deep red wine — velvety, theatrical, just a little bit wicked, the perfect match for a family that finds elegance in the eerie and charm in the shadows.
- Shaydeknight9. november 2025A charming sequel that doesn't quite offer the same electric energy as the first film, but is still a wonderfully twisted good time. The parallel plots play off each other beautifully. Debbie, the black widow (a gleefully unhinged Joan Cusack), sets her sights on Fester while sending Wednesday and Pugsley to a cheerfully sadistic summer camp. Meanwhile, baby Pubert's strange slide toward "normalcy" adds just the right dose of absurdity. Raúl Julia and Anjelica Huston remain a dream pairing, still deeply in love, still gloriously demented. Their chemistry is magnetic, their affection palpable even in the most bizarre moments. Julia, especially, plays Gomez with such giddy sincerity that his madness feels like devotion itself. The storytelling's light and episodic, the way it should be for the family. The Addamses began as simple one-panel comics, then a 1960s sitcom that pretty much reset every week, not getting into a deep, serialized experience. Like that Wednesday series I despise. This film keeps that spirit alive: short, sharp scenes that don't over-explain, just revel in the family's peculiar joy. It's surface-level fun by design and it works beautifully. A fair sequel, yes, but one that stands firmly on its own creepy, kooky feet.

- ርልዪረ26. januar 2025This is not comedy, this is genius writ LARGE! Warped humour, fantastic characters and a script that is outstandingly good. This is an American film with English Humour. Why cant the Yanks produce more like this instead of the usual dross that they serve up?. Fester is the brother you would want to have, and Gomez is a role model."isnt he a ladykiller?" Acquitted!" Cristina Ricci steals the show, and her smile on leaving the Happy House, is truly scary. This is a film to watch time and gain, and if you have not seen it, do so,you will never regret it. Is it a boy?is it a girl? its an Addams !
