They are fed up with the God and the world and the other orders he has set on Earth for human beings to go through. They reject the idea that they have to die once their time is up. They don't want to take orders from anyone. They break the tabu lines and try to take their lives in a shot out at the end of the day and only after they have done so much damage all around the city.
