A Working Man Ratings & Reviews
- Chris CurtisApril 2, 2025By this point, we should all pretty much know what to expect from a Jason Statham action film. This one delivers on those expectations. It doesn't break any new ground as an action film, but it's still a solid outing. The fight scenes are clean and well-choreographed. You'll receive your expected quota of pithy comments and comebacks. There's nothing that elevates this to a really great action film, but similarly there isn't anything that detracts it from delivering what you'd expect. David Harbour is a nice addition for a few scenes and largely steals all the ones he's in. Michael Peña is, sadly, hardly given any screen time and he isn't really given anything to work with for the few scenes he has. Overall, this movie will deliver what you want, if what you want is a Jason Statham action flick.
- RonOdde6h agoWhat you would expect. On the lower spectrum of the “they dragged me back in” genre. Low enough on the totem pole that they skip most of the exposition that you would have seen in earlier films in this genre. I guess they assume that you all ready know the plot, so why bother. The action scenes are what you would expect. The hero never misses or questions his need/right to kill. The bad guys couldn’t hit the broad side of the barn with a bazooka. It almost has done character development and story, but then the writers just give up and settle for a series of action scenes that are , well, typical.
- Nathan MagretaJuly 17, 2025It's pretty cliche in some action parts, but I loved it. It's a very fun watch.
- joshr687April 19, 2025Possibly the worst Jason Statham film ever.
- RipLinesManApril 16, 2025Where Event Horizon (1997) peers into the terrifying unknown of space, A Working Man digs into the brutal clarity of real-world violence and redemption. It trades interdimensional horror for sweat, scars, and a relentless pace, anchored by a lead performance that feels as weathered as the tools in his hands. While it doesn't unnerve the soul quite like its sci-fi counterpart, it strikes hard with purpose and restraint. Gritty, human, and unwavering—it earns its stars the hard way.
- JC LuevanosJuly 8, 2025Great action film, a bit exaggerated but that’s what this kind of movies are for!loved it!
- DarkleyApril 1, 2025That was such a terrible movie.... I usually love Jason Statham movies but thos one is just not worth watching. I just wasted time I will never get back. The story is just copying 100s of other movies. The action scenes are way overboard. Even Superman gets more of a fight than he did. Garbage.

- Maui ServerApril 17, 2025If it weren’t for Jason Statham, this movie would’ve been a complete disaster. The acting from the Russian characters was downright terrible.
