The near-silence makes every scene feel stressful in the best way, and the performances sell the emotional stakes. The sound design is easily the standout and does a lot of the heavy lifting. The pacing is sharp and rarely drags. A few moments feel a bit convenient, but overall it’s a really solid and memorable watch.

The sound effects are awesome which is important since the plot revolves around sound, and it makes this a very unique experience. The characters are very human and relatable. The visual effects are flawless, CGI on point. This movie makes for an intense evening, loved every minute of it. Definitely a must watch from me.

The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat, combined with great photography, cinematography and good acting and we were left with an amazing cinematic experience. Found this to be a smart, entertaining, novel and intense thriller movie. The tension created by the combination of the sound editing and camera work was incredible. Was a nice change to the usual horror/thrillers which are all the same. It's just fun to see a movie about a concept you've never really thought of before. That's primarily where "A Quiet Place" succeeds, playing on the concept of "sound" (or the lack thereof) to craft a solid, inventive thriller. I’ll be watching it again and would definitely recommend.
