- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025Wow. This movie f@*ked me up. It's hard to describe this. First things first though, this movie isn't for everyone. The pacing is very deliberate and for the first 20 mins I was starting to really question the film. Once it hits its stride though. It does so perfectly. The emotional weight this film brings is soul crushing and the bigger questions it leaves you asking are haunting. The performances, as subdued as they are, work great. The real star is the gorgeous cinematography. Shot in 4:3 every frame looks like a painting or something that belongs on instagram. Lastly, the score does wonders. The song "I feel overwhelmed" by Dark Rooms wrecked me. This is a very unique movie and glad I got to experience this in theaters.
