- God_wulfMay 12, 2026Wanted to rewatch this recently since I started to read the original comic. Man, decent adaptation but wish they would've included more of the comic. Most of the decisions made by the vampires didn't make sense until I read the comic, imagine if they added Vicente to this it would've been a perfect adaptation.

The setting does a ton of the work—everything feels isolated and tense in a way that really pulls you in. It’s a bit rough and uneven at times, but when it lands, it hits hard. Leans more on mood and intensity than polish, and that actually works for it.
- CarterMarch 7, 202630 Days of Night is a great but terrifying vampire film. The film has a great but simple set up to get the vampires there. I love the snow setting of the film. The cast is really stacked and they all deliver great performances. The look of the vampires is actually terrifying. The practical effects for the kills is really good. The film also has a tragic romance at the centre of it all that I loved. My only criticism for the movie is the third act is a little bit rushed and I don’t like what they do with one of the characters. So overall a great and terrifying vampire flick.
