Sam is having the worst day of his life when he gets thrown off his art course and dumped by his girlfriend in the same day, he then meets a girl called Hope who gives him back his smile. Sometime later he meets her again, but Hope is now very unhappy, Sam makes it his mission to find out what's wrong with her and help his friend find her smile.

⭐⭐½ – 100 Women – Same Blueprint, Different Faces 100 Women feels like a spiritual sequel to 100 Girls — not because it shares characters or storylines, but because it repeats the same energy, tone, and romantic idealism. It’s another early-2000s exploration of male infatuation dressed up as a quirky love story, full of awkward charm, misplaced earnestness, and a few fleeting moments of real sweetness. The story follows a young man who, after being dumped, meets a woman whose smile changes his mood completely. When he later finds her depressed, he makes it his mission to bring that smile back — a simple, sentimental setup that could’ve been something special if it weren’t so thinly stretched. It’s less a romance and more a fable about chasing happiness in others, though it doesn’t dig deep enough to say anything new. Jennifer Morrison shows early promise here, long before her breakout in House. She gives the film what heart it has, lifting scenes that might otherwise have fallen flat. The rest of the cast do their part, but the material itself feels dated even for its time — earnest but clumsy, like a love letter written in pencil. It’s pleasant, occasionally funny, and just self-aware enough to keep you watching once. But like its predecessor, it’s a movie that leaves your memory almost as soon as the credits roll. ☕️ Pairing: A lukewarm cup of diner coffee — comforting enough in the moment, but gone cold before you finish it.
