It follows one young man’s quest to find the mysterious girl he shared a night with during a power outage, leading him on a comically awkward mission through a women’s dorm to uncover her identity — and maybe himself along the way. It’s all here: the sensitive “nice guy” still figuring himself out, the secretly-in-love best friend, the overcompensating womaniser, the mean girls, the dream girls, and the handful of genuine ones who make the chaos worthwhile. There’s a surprisingly big ensemble of familiar faces too — Larisa Oleynik (10 Things I Hate About You), Jaime Pressly, Katherine Heigl (Roswell), and a then-rising Emmanuelle Chriqui, who lights up every scene she’s in. The film flirts with being insightful about gender and attraction but never digs deep enough to make a real point. It’s funny in places, endearing in others, and more watchable than it probably deserves to be. You can see every twist coming a mile off, yet somehow that predictability becomes part of its charm. Ultimately, 100 Girls is the cinematic equivalent of warm tap water — familiar, comfortable, and good enough when you’re not asking for much more. 🥤 Pairing: A vanilla milkshake — smooth, simple, and just nostalgic enough to remind you of how uncomplicated movies like this used to be.
